Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream the melted butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped dates and walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
