- 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
- 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg. Stir until well mixed and a dough forms. The dough will be sticky.
- Place the powdered sugar in a small bowl. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, take small amounts of dough and roll them into balls. Then, roll each ball in the powdered sugar until well coated.
- Place the sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Feel free to experiment with different cake mix flavors to create a variety of cookie tastes.
- The cookies will be soft and chewy; for a crisper cookie, bake for an additional 1-2 minutes.
